Facilitator
Abby Sidery is a mother of two young children, Registered Midwife, Registered Nurse and Certified Doula. Having grown up as the daughter of a home birth midwife, birth has always been a passion and never something to be feared.
She has worked in various roles, across multiple settings including Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney’s East and Northern Beaches Hospital, as well as supporting Sheryl Sidery as a second midwife at home births. Her greatest achievements to date are her babies and her births – a hospital birth with her daughter Bobbie, and a home birth with her son Felix.
Having worked in ‘the system’ and having been on the receiving end, she is in the perfect position to assist you and your partner to navigate the maternity system and emerge from birth prepared and empowered to nurture your baby.
